Welcome...

This is a place where we can share experiences and stories about brain cancer. I have been reading and researching about this horrific disease ever since my family and I found out that my brother Tom was diagnosed with Glioblastoma Multiforme, also known as GBM.

This, without a doubt, has been the most difficult time in our lives. For us as a family we view life completely different. We now know how precious each day is and know that we should never take it for granted.

Please join in with us and share your feelings and stories.

Looking forward to it...

It is my son that was just diagnosed with GBM grade 4 He was operated on at Brigham and Women’s in February but they could not take much of the tumor as it would have paralized him. He is now under going radiation and chemo and he is also on a drug trial R115777. He is fory-nine years old and had the most amazing life. He has two older children 23 and 27. He recently met the love of his life and I might add the love of his whole family. They married and have two little boys 2 and 3. I am desparate to save him if anyone out there has any treatments that worked well or has some success stories that I could hold on too please let me know. Thank you, Gail

There is hope … Tom is amazing and he is strong. He has a great support team, plus he has his angel Ang to help him every step of the way. We all will get through this… that is what being a family is about…. Strength comes in numbers…

Hi honey, I know Ang is an angel sent to this family. Is it any wonder she became a nurse?Tommy also has a good support system in my other angels Carla and Tommy. We are all there for him but I am still desperate to find some new therapies to try on him? Did you get Wayne to fix this site so it will come up when a person searches GBM? That is the only way we will hear from GBM patients or their caregivers Love you, Mom
